I like the second one but I think the gold color might be a little too saturated, try to lessen up the tone - maybe try switching the color with the lighter yellow.
Hello Danielle! I really liked the third one. I think that the color red of the type goes well with your design, also I do not know a lot about scotland but it gave me the feeling that the logo was from there! My advise to you would be to play a little bit more with the colors.
I would choose #3, because the first two feel and look squished and stretched inwards to me. The type looks like it's pressed a little bit, so go with #3, but move Scotland higher like you did with the others.
I like all 3 but i would go with number one because i like how the type is not so close to the golden logo, but great designs and I think the type was a good chose
This is a tough one. The shield is better looking in 1 and 2 as far as the type goes and color choice. However, as for the word Scotland, I would combine 2 and 3...I love the space between the type and element and I like the type size of 3...but I would fine tune it so the top points of the shield line up with the curve of the "c" and the second leg of the "n". Overall, great job!
The first one is visually appealing because it is easy to notice the hierarchy in the composition without focusing too much on the type. The only thing is that the yellow ring gets lost against the gold background. I think you should add a highlight just to increase the visibility of the ring.
I like the placement of the elements in the first design the best. However, you might want to change the color of the shield: when you size it down, the year might get lost since there is not a lot of contrast between the color of the shield and color of the year.
I like the first one, the text doesn't look good being too squished against the graphics or with the underline. I think I would change the gold color a little, just because it is a little bulky for a logo.
I like the first one. It looks nicer with the shield closer to the text, and the underline from 2 feels like it separates the shield from the word "Scotland". I agree with everyone else and think that changing the color of the shield may help with readability. The font you chose is working well, also.
I like the concept of the crest but i am not getting the feeling of scotland. An idea might be to bring some ornate images to make it feel more like a crest or to use the type to portray scotland.
I really like your logo as it looks very flush and clean... i would go with the first one for sure... i dont think the red type is working as it looks stretched also.... great job though!
its feeling flat. can we add more dimension to it, perhaps an alternate angle. 3/4 view or perspective?? colors need work. dont be afraid to try a gradient.

Very clean, I think the first one is the best bet, everything is flush, and the type is lookin good.
